Everything has a time.

I made my decision. I know it took me long. It was a fight I went through and I know my guts are saying it is correct.

I will stay. Right here. Right now. With him. Without.

I know that only this moment has been true to me. Only this is what I could count on. I tackled the many doubts, I lived on the stilts of hope. I've gotten tired, I'm now fatigued.

Now is the time for me to know..that this is my reality, this is my dawn.

I cannot live on my romantic notions - of a life to come, of a life to lead. Here is where I am, and you cannot remove me however hard you try. I'm rooted to my reality and my reality is all I have.

If I were to fight it out. I'll fight my cause of now. Not because you threw me out, not because you made me doubt. But because I know it. I know that it was all ephemeral - my half-broken dreams, my unsure faith.

Right now is what I want. Right now is what I strived for. Right now is staring me in my face. Right now is what I'll die for. Right now - I've always been there.

Like a thin thread wrapped around my little finger, I want to encircle you..leave an imprint of me. So what if it won't last as long? So what if your blood will kick me out?

Everything has a time.

This is striking, and must have deep significance. "Stilts of hope"..."right now is staring me in the face"..."Everything has a time." Striking.

Ariel - It does have significance, isn't all of what we write normally so? Thanks for coming by. :)

Very powerful.

Very real.
"Like a thin thread wrapped around my little finger, I want to encircle you..leave an imprint of me. So what if it won't last as long? So what if your blood will kick me out?"

Love the last line.
"Everything has a time."

monochrome - Ofcourse I will! Thanks for reading me too :)

ubermensch - You've thanked me in your blog before :) And yes, it can be that there is a hint of actualy experience here. Without which, perhaps, this piece would never have come alive. But most of what is weaved is that of the imagination, it is only held in place by some personal experiences. I do hope I've managed to confuse you!!

.:A:. - Gee. You have to be a lit student. I'm glad you liked the last line. Something told me you would recognize what was being said.

technomerlin - Thank you for coming by. There are some experiences that can completely change a previously held perspective, whereas many only result in a cosmetic change of it. Maybe a matter of choice? Or circumstance?
