I'm sure you want me to offer you a half-life - a mixture of one half of me and the other half consisting of what you want me to be. Then again why must it stop at giving you only my half-life when I can offer you half-love too? That way you'll be happy with just enough love to make you content yet it won't be too stifling. With half-love I can throw in half-happiness. This'll ensure that you're reminded of the melancholic side to life and still keep the joie de vivre in you. Obviously, I cannot ever forget the half-eternity which will give you the option of other people to take my place with me still lingering in limbo for you. Half-attention for the times when you are low and want some caring shown your way but not when you're too busy being busy. Half-intelligence so that you don't feel stupid around me but still can hold intellectual, deep conversation when you feel a need for it. I can be half-bubbly for you, in that I shall accommodate your need for me being fun and yet not too bubbly because that would be annoying during days when you want seriousness to prevail. I'm sure this extends to half-talent too. This entails a talent which will make you proud of me while keeping you satisfied that you're more talented than me. Then there's the usual lot of half-curious, half-adventurous, half-creative, half-knowledgeable, half-horny, half-social, half-sporty, half-busy, half-aggressive and half-successful. I suppose, half-everything would summarize just about all that you want of me. Of course, I'm aware that you would want me to be full-mature, full-energetic, full-willing, full-understanding, full-accepting, full-feminine, full-available for you.
Given your unique preferences, I'm quite certain that you want me half-dead when my time comes. Nothing more and nothing less.

i thought there when ever one talks of half of oneself it is always about the good half and the bad.
well whatever it is i think u make a great friend...
But tell me, do you not subconsciously seek someone who would be easy to respond to with just half an intellect ? Someone who would be just happy with your ration of passion but not demanding ? Has it struck you that we gravitate towards a supposedly easy relationship.. and then feel let down at the lack of fulfilment of potential
I half-expected you to write something like this, phrases that does not speak of happiness, nor does it reek of sadness, as one would readily expect from someone possibly half-hurting.
I have a half-mind to print this out and stick it up somewhere. :-)
