Excerpts

He: You don't like to lose control. The minute you're enjoying yourself and your senses are gaining, you take control again, yeah?
She: And what's wrong with that?

(I can't believe I actually said that)

---

He:
Be careful with him. He's a charmer.
She: Like a snake-charmer kind of charmer?

(What can I do??? I'm Indian, for god's sake!)
---

She 1: What do you think of this sweater for him?
She 2: Well, it's a girlish sweater. But then Shah Rukh Khan wears such stuff, so it's very happening with the guys back at home. Buy it.

(Oh yeah, oh yeah. I love making fun of that guy)
---

He: I want to see you again. Just call me and we'll go out for a drink and get some dinner and then you can sneak me into your place.
She (laughs): Yeah. Like I'm gonna do all that for you.

(Yes. I can be dense around cute guys. Excuse me!)
---

Them:
So are there like slaves in India?
She: Yes, we do have slaves back at home. I've got about 5 of them as permanent slaves. Some keep coming and going. But that's because I'm from the upper middle class. There're people who are very rich and have slaves all over the house like pebbles strewn across the shore. Most people have slaves. It's something to do with class consciousness, I guess. I don't quite know. Everyone who has any amount of money will have a slave.

(silence)

What do you think!? We live in the same century as you guys do!!! Why the hell would we have slaves in India?! Gosh.

(Speechless)

Casablanca - Welcome here! :) It's funny what people think of India, isn't it?

RukSak - Hehe. I had a good laugh at that one when I said it. Should've seen the guy's face, was doubly funny!
