Flow

Time grew fluid
(just like our bodies)
and we had no idea
when it began
and where it stopped.

---

Shimmering sunlight
bounced off the
dusky waves.

Ice-cubes tingled
my tongue.
The moonlight framed
your smile.

The sound of happy
couples, naughty children
and soft breeze flowing
through the trees.

---

If there was a moment
that all life collapsed,
every known reality
fell apart
and
only blissful blankness
remained,
it was then.

---

For the first time
it was so hard
to say
bye.
