Wants.

So, what is it that you want in life?

I want fame. What about you?

I want happiness and love.

___

Her: I want us to be harmonious, content and have a quiet, assured understanding between each other.
Him: I want us to give and take love freely. Let each other be and give alot of space. I want us to deeply understand each other.

Wants!!!!

I understand this and I want to say a lot of things freely. but I'd rather keep quiet. perhaps silence would speak volumes about my silly, tiny and simple wants.

I want to sleep contently every night with the confidence & the knowledge that the next day is going to be amazing.

Now is that too much to ask for, huh? :)

Somehow, it does not quite sound the same the other way round.

Just read this and wondered, the way we look at another's perspective might be so different and what we say, may not be what we mean?

Just a thought.

I don't know if I believe the comment of "Him." It is not a believable "male" comment. Maybe it's just me. Maybe it is supposed to be idealistic.

Hmm, now that you've made me think, maybe this is what I'll want: To give back more than I've received. :^) Good post!

Phoenix Rises - :) What can I say!

enembius - This sounds too happy to be true, doesn't it? But if the mind thought it, it can't be too unreal.

billy - I wonder what was it in the post that evoked your comment..

neap - :) Thanks for coming by, and no I wouldn't think you were merely reciprocating.
I like the way you've described your reaction to my previous post. It does remind one of Richard Bach's One, now that you mention it.
Thanks for the poem, neap. I really enjoyed reading it, clears up alot in one's head.

AmitKen - Why would you do that? Nothing is silly or tiny. Each person's life, desire, reality is precious. I'd want to know yours.

erin - How beautiful it all sounds! I do hope some of these are achieved in your life.

Manjusha - :) Thank you for coming by.
That's a want you can quite easily make into a reality. All in the power of your mind, isn't it? So it can't be too much at all..I'd say it's the most important thing to have before we sleep.

.:A:. - You should've seen my face, A. What you wrote was very striking. I never saw it like that before.

You are right. Each of our perceptions are very different. I have wondered if what we say is what we mean, and I've discovered that there are some such people.
There're too many greys to it..don't you think?

stan laurel - Welcome here, I hope to see you around :)
Actually, both the Him and Her comments sound too perfect to be true. But it can be achieved. It's all about making our own realities. We're too conditioned to be able to step out and realize it, that's all.

CAROLVS - That's really nice, what you'd want. Don't you feel you're doing some of that everyday?

Yes, I agree with you. There are too many greys.

I know how it is to have lost someone and not even know it at the time. I, too, had been too young to shed a tear.

Sometimes, though, I wonder if being young is just another convenient excuse.

What is it that I want in life?

I want to be able to watch the sun rise every morning, painting the sky with a different hue each time, and not think of anything else but the hand that holds mine.

.:A:. - :)

the woman - Thank you very much. I do hope you'll visit again.

Ellipses M - *grin* Glad I fulfill that part of your wants! I'm fine, thank you.

Free Spirit - No. Being too young is not the convenient excuse. Nothing can be a convenient excuse when it comes to such situations.

You have such simple wants..that it made me stop for a minute. Esp when you've said that all that matters is the hand that holds yours. I wish I will feel that again..soon.
