Blue, Blue Sky

I have a special love for the sky. The sky that has a few clouds dotting it, a spectacular blue and a gentle breeze pushing the clouds around and the sunrays peeking through the corners of the clouds - that's my perfect sky.

I love the sky because it has always been there for me. I love the sky because it gives us the monsoons (and the monsoons are so lovely!) I love the sky because..I love the sky.

I especially loved the sky up north in Great Britain. It was amazingly blue - it was almost shocking how blue it was. The clouds were just right, the breeze was perfect and the stories that it told me were beautiful. I wish we had such kind of skies in India.

Grey Shades - Where? The only decent sky I saw was in Kerala!

Well you gotta be in Pune and if you visit any of the hills dotting the entire landscape, you'll know what i mean.

And Kerela was super! My eyes couldnt handle all the green! :)

Hey! The sky looks plenty good even in India! Even in a place like Bombay it looks beeeeeeeautiful at times, esp. when the sun is setting. You haven't seen any of my posts where I've posted sky pics have you??
Even in Hyd, the sky sometimes takes on lovely shades!

Grey Shades - I agree, Kerala was amazing. I love the landscape there, plus the sky was rather pretty too. However, I've never been on the hills around Pune. Do you live there?

Phoenix Rises - Ayyo. Don't take offense! Ofcourse, the sky is nice in India too. But you really should see how it is here, Urvi. You'll know what I mean. But yes, the sun rise and sun sets in India are plenty beautiful! I'm not so sure about Bbay tho!

Yep! that place has its charm alright! Yes I live in Pune and since this being a city with lotsa hills dotting around it, its really beautiful in the rains (when you dont get to see the sky much :) ). But there are some places such as my school which has a great countryside feel to it and the skies from there are absolutely stunning!

Grey Shades - You've been really into the whole selling the skies of India to me. Let me take a bad guess and say you work in marketing, sales or are a techie who blogs way too much? ;)

LOL! Now why would I need to convince you that India too has great skies when we both know thats true? :) And plus that is a bad guess. But if you were to venture an even worse one what do you think I do? :)
